I feel so exhausted thinking of my incompetence...
I want to descend into a reverie listening to a flawless baul strain,
Plunge into that half-read book again,
indolently swaying in my patio...
And smell those Hyacinths one last time before they wither...

That's precisely when I get toiled away by my encompassments.
Dismayed at night, I try to close my scalded eyes...
My frail body touches the bed to doze off.
That's when...
That's precisely when the gentleness of a tiny hand enfolds me,
A Giggle, a good night's kiss,
Takes me to the rhythm of that baul song, and my bedroom fills with the aromatic tot scent...
Here I am!! Clasping the joys of my life...!!
My lips are now chanting the indelible lullabies heard in the past...!!!
